Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: May 19, 2026
How to delete your Draftyx account and data
You can request complete deletion of your Draftyx account and all associated personal data at any time. Here's how:
- Contact us through the in-app chat — This is the fastest way. Open the chat bubble in the bottom-right corner of the app and send a message requesting account deletion. Include your registered email address for verification.
- Email request — If you cannot access the app, send a request to the support channel with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your account.
We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation once complete.
What gets deleted
A full account deletion removes:
- Your profile information (brand name, description, preferences).
- All voice samples and training data used for AI caption generation.
- Your content pool (saved posts, drafts, images, and videos).
- Scheduled posts and publishing history.
- Social media connection tokens and linked account identifiers.
- AI-generated content stored in your account.
What is retained
Some data may be retained for legal or operational reasons:
- Payment records — Stripe retains transaction records for tax and accounting purposes as required by law. We do not store card numbers.
- Encrypted backups — May contain residual data for up to 90 days before rotation.
- Anonymized analytics — Non-identifiable usage statistics may be retained.
Disconnecting social accounts
You can disconnect your Instagram or other social accounts at any time from the Connections page inside the Draftyx app. This revokes our access to publish on your behalf, but does not delete your Draftyx account or stored content.
